Most potential issues will be dealt with at site meetings prior to your event, but there are a few important points that need prior consideration:
Licensing
We can only supply equipment and services to venues and events correctly licensed by the appropriate local licensing authority. We can advise and liaise with local authorities if required - for larger events this is essential in order to comply with sound level limits and performance cut-off times.
Insurance
Whilst we maintain our own £5million public liability plus separate equipment insurance cover, it is the event promoter's responsibility to ensure adequate public liability and overall insurance cover for the actual event and for our equipment once in situ. We can arrange insurance cover for you if required.
Security
The event promoter must arrange for adequate licensed security for crowd control and to ensure the safety of the attendees and our equipment. On multi-day events this will include 24-hour security of all our equipment and structures and to control access to restricted areas.
Health & Safety
The event promoter must ensure that the performance/set-up area is cleared of all non-authorised personnel during our set-up and breakdown periods. In addition security must ensure that only authorised crew have access to technical and performance areas during the period of the event.
Please note
we also reserve the right to suspend a performance if, in the opinion of our on-site Health & Safety officer in consultation with event security and promoters, the conditions pose a credible threat to either performers, crew or audience. |
